Valor PT Affiliate Program Guidelines

Welcome to the Valor Physical Therapy Affiliate Program! We're excited to partner with you to help more active adults and BJJ practitioners achieve their movement goals and prevent injuries through our expert-designed online programs. These guidelines are designed to ensure a successful and mutually beneficial partnership.

1. Program Overview

The Valor PT Affiliate Program empowers individuals and organizations to promote our online physical therapy programs, starting with our flagship "Resilience in BJJ Program." In return, affiliates earn a commission on every successful sale generated through their unique tracking link.

Our mission is to make high-quality, preventative physical therapy accessible to a wider audience, and your role as an affiliate is crucial in expanding that reach.

2. Affiliate Responsibilities

As a Valor PT affiliate, you are expected to:

• Promote Ethically: Represent Valor PT and its programs accurately and honestly.
• Share Value: Focus on the benefits and value our programs bring to your audience.
• Use Approved Materials: Utilize the provided marketing assets (banners, text links, copy ideas) to maintain brand consistency.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with program updates, new product launches, and any changes to these guidelines.
• Comply with Laws: Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including advertising and consumer protection laws (e.g., FTC disclosure guidelines in the US).

3. Commission Structure & Payments

• Commission Rate: You will earn a 15% commission rate on all sales of Valor PT online programs purchased through your unique affiliate link and coupon code. 
• Payment Schedule: Commissions will be paid out on a quarterly basis,  with a minimum payout threshold of $25.
• Payment Method: Payments will be made only via Paypal.
• Refunds/Chargebacks: Commissions for sales that are later refunded or charged back will be deducted from your earnings.

4. Promotional Guidelines: Do's and Don'ts

4.1. Approved Promotional Methods (Do's)

• Social Media: Share your affiliate link and promote our programs on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Blogs/Websites: Integrate links and content into blog posts, articles, or dedicated review pages.
• Email Newsletters: Include our programs in your email marketing campaigns to your engaged audience.
• Educational Content: Create valuable content (videos, tutorials) that naturally incorporates Valor PT as a solution.
• Podcasts/Webinars: Mention and link to our programs during your broadcasts.
• Direct Recommendations: Personally recommend our programs to individuals you believe would benefit, providing your link.

4.2. Prohibited Promotional Methods (Don'ts)

• Spamming: Do NOT engage in unsolicited email, social media, or forum spam.
• Trademark Bidding: Do NOT bid on "Valor PT," "Valor Physical Therapy," or any variations, misspellings, or related keywords in paid search campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads).
• Direct Linking in Paid Search: Do NOT use your affiliate link directly as the display URL in paid search ads.
• Misleading Advertising: Do NOT make false, exaggerated, or misleading claims about our programs or their results.
• Coupon Code Sites (Unless Approved): Do NOT post affiliate links on coupon or deal sites unless specifically approved by Valor PT.
• Browser Extensions/Toolbars: Do NOT use mechanisms like browser extensions or toolbars to automatically redirect users through your affiliate link.
• Self-Purchasing: You may not purchase programs through your own affiliate link to earn commission.
• Malicious Tactics: Any use of spyware, adware, or other malicious software is strictly prohibited.

4.3. Transparency & Disclosure (Crucial!)

• Always Disclose: It is a legal and ethical requirement to clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with Valor PT when promoting our products.
• Examples of Disclosure:
• Social Media: Use hashtags like #ad, #sponsored, #affiliatelink, or #ValorPTpartner in your posts.
• Blog/Website: Include a disclaimer at the beginning of your post/page, e.g., "This post contains affiliate links, meaning I may earn a commission if you make a purchase."
• Video/Audio: Verbally state your affiliate relationship at the beginning of your content.

5. Tracking & Reporting

• Unique Affiliate Link: Upon approval, you will receive a unique affiliate link to track all your referrals.
• Affiliate Dashboard: You will be provided access to an affiliate dashboard where you can monitor your clicks, conversions, and earnings in real-time.

6. Program Terms & Termination

• Participation: To continue your participation in the Valor PT Affiliate Program, we require a no-fee renewal every six months. This ensures we maintain an active and engaged affiliate network.
• Right to Terminate: Valor PT reserves the right to terminate any affiliate's participation in the program at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to, violation of these guidelines, fraudulent activity, or engaging in practices that harm Valor PT's brand reputation. 
• Changes to Guidelines: Valor PT reserves the right to modify these guidelines at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via email or through the affiliate dashboard. Continued participation after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
• Compliance: By joining the Valor PT Affiliate Program, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined in these guidelines.

7. Guidelines for Minor Affiliates (Ages 13–17)

We welcome enthusiastic young athletes and students in the BJJ community to participate in our affiliate program—with proper oversight and parental involvement. If you're under 18, please review the following special guidelines:

7.1 Age Requirement

• The minimum age to participate is 13 years old.

• Individuals under 13 are not eligible, in compliance with U.S. online privacy laws (COPPA).

7.2 Parental or Guardian Consent

• A parent or legal guardian must complete the affiliate registration on your behalf.

• Parents/guardians must review and agree to all terms of the program.

• A signed Minor Affiliate Consent Form must be submitted prior to participation. This will be provided during onboarding.

7.3 Supervised Participation

• All promotional activities by minors must be conducted with parental supervision.

• Communications regarding earnings, payments, or program updates will be sent to the parent or guardian’s email.

7.4 Payment and Tax Information

• Commissions will be paid to an account owned by a parent or guardian (e.g., PayPal or bank account).

• The responsible adult will be required to handle any necessary tax reporting related to affiliate earnings.

7.5 Code of Conduct for Minors

• Follow all promotional guidelines listed above (Section 4).

• Do not promote Valor PT on platforms or in ways that are not age-appropriate.

• Maintain respectful, truthful, and responsible communication when representing the Valor PT brand.
